1962 Sangermani J.L.GILES 55'17m

Designed in 1961 by Jack Laurent Giles for mediterranean navigation area , she was built by  Sangermani ,possibly one of the  best boatyard of the time in the world. Her first name was Giga. 

 Giga, now Eos I , Giles archives number 429,is a very comfortable sailing yacht with the shape of a comfortable motorsailer , but her hull and lines are of a powerfull sailing yacht.The great Laurent Giles began to design cruising sailing boats with very good performances under sail and under motor since the early 40 ies . His famous 50/50 or motorsailers . In the years 1950-1960ies his motorsailers became very much requested in many places of the world thanks to very good performances and comfort. Very famous have been the Donella class of 43' and Dhorus Mhoor class of 49'performances.September Moon, Dhorus Mhoor class  in 1970 was awarded with the Lloyds Trophy for the best and faster cruising yacht . The most famous over all has been possibly the Blue Leopard , an incredibly fast and comfortable sailing yacht of 120' 

Eos I received a thorough restoration by Cantiere La Bussola ,Fiumicino, Italy ended up in june 2013. New extraordinary maintenances in 2019 : The masts have been taken to barewood and revarnished.Same thing for the hull, taken to barewood checked and found in very good state . Painting. Full service to main engine and genset
