CONSTRUCTION

RCD Status:

• RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht complies with the the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) via a post construction assessment (PCA) certificate issues by Istituto Giordano in 2004.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Aluminiumhull and deck.
• The ship’s structure is of a mainly transverse type, with T shaped frames evenly spaced 342.9mm and web frames in most solicited areas; a keelson runs throughout full hull length, doubling in places to accommodate heavy loads such as the mast compression or engine weight. Smaller longitudinals are welded on bottom, bilge turn and topsides plating.
• Topsides sprayed with local grey coloured anti-skid painting.  internal spray insulation and filler and coating on outer surface
• Hull faired out with epoxy filler and a navy blue polyurethane glossy finish. pink boot top stripe
• Teak lay decking in the centre and aft cockpit sole an seats
• White antifouling.
• Mast shrouds are pinned to chainplates which are welded to the deck to plates in the deckhead with five integral web frames below. These web frames transfer the rigging loads to the hull
• thru-hulls were aluminium welded to the hull. All valves on board were plastic

Keel & Rudder:

• Keel with steel fin.
• The keel is fastened by nineteen 2 stainless steel studs secured by stainless steel full nuts
• The light alloy rudder stock turns in acetal bearings within a short rudder tube welded into the hull bottom.

MACHINERY

Engine & gearbox:

• Cummins Diesel 6BTA 5.9M 6-cyclinders, 5,9 litres, four strokes, naturally inspired diesel engine producing 220hp @ 2,500RPM – 1992
• Freshwater cooling engine cooling
• Twin Disc reduction gearbox
• Single lever throttle control

Service & Maintenance:

• Engine hours – approx. 4856 as of May 2023

Propulsion & Steering:

• The 50mm diameter stainless steel shaft
• The shaft is supported by an aluminium P-bracket
• Three blades Max Prop feathering propeller

• 24vDC primary domestic system with 12vDC starting circuit and 220v AC via shorepower, generator or inverter.

Bilge Pumps:

• Electric bilge pump system divided into areas: sail locker, main central and engine compartment.
• 1 x manual bilge pump in cockpit

Watermaker:

• Sea Recovery reverse osmosis watermaker
• Approx. 4,400 hours

TANKAGE

Fuel:

• Approx. 1,500 litres total fuel capacity in four structural tanks.

Fresh Water:

• Approx. 1000 litres total fresh water capacity in two aluminium tanks.

Grey water:

• All appliances drain to two aluminium tanks with electric pump for drainage
