CONSTRUCTION

Hull Construction:

• Carbon/epoxy sandwich construction.
• Topsides repainted Awlgrip grey/silver – 2020/21
• Laminate in carbon fibres and epoxy resin.
• Aramid fibres in the outer skin for added impact resistance.
• Foam core.
• Cured under vacuum in room temperature and post cured at 50 °C (122 °F).
• Gelshield epoxy primer system applied – 2020/21

Deck & Superstructure Construction:

Engine & gearbox:

• 1 x Yanmar 4LHA-DTP 200hp.

Maintenance & Performance:

• Engine hours: approx. 4.700 hrs as of Summer 2022

Propulsion & Steering:

• Brunton 4-bladed folding propeller.
• The propeller shaft is made of corrosion resistant steel AISI 329 The outboard end is supported with a composite shaft strut including water lubricated cutlass bearing.
• Carbon, painted steering wheels.
• Steering wheels connected to a composite quadrant by means of Spectra/Kevlar ropes/cables.
• One aluminum alloy tube emergency tiller, storage in cockpit locker.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

Voltage systems:

• 24vDC domestic systems with 220vAC via shore-power or generator

Battery Banks:

• 12vDC start battery – approx. 108Ah
• 24vDC service batteries – approx. 1000Ah – Mastervol gel cell

Charging:

PLUMBING & GAS SYSTEMS

Fresh Water:

• The hot freshwater circuit is led into a well insulated 80 litres hot water tank, heated by engine or 230v AC immersion heater element.

Watermaker:

• Spectra Newport 400 GPC watermaker.

TANKAGE

Fuel:

• 700 litre fuel capacity in two stainless steel tanks
• Each tank has a dedicated fill pipe, vent pipe and inspection port. Stainless steel pickup tubes.
• Each supply port fitted with a shut-off valve.
• The capacities are read-out on analog display at nav. station.
• Tanks are baffled and insulated.

Fresh Water:

• 1,100 litres water capacity in two stainless steel tanks
• Each tank has an electronic level indicator with a level gauge located at the nav station.
• Each tank has a dedicated fill pipe, vent pipe and inspection port.
• Both tanks have single outlets leading to the fresh water manifold.

ACCOMMODATION

Summary of Accommodation:

• Up to 10 berths in three bunk cabins, one master double cabin, saloon and forepeak. Four heads.
• SEI TU II has the owners cabin in the centre of the yacht under the central cockpit area. This position of the owners cabin is close to the pint of movement during sailing hence very comfortable in a heavy seaway and the fact that it is also positioned in a very volume rich area makes it an extremely large, and luxurious cabin.

Accommodation Finish:

• Advanced lightweight construction techniques used in construction of the interior.  A custom made high technology laminating press is used for the lamination of the main bulkheads and interior panels. The use of this press results in bulkheads and panels with very high laminate quality and surface smoothness enabling application of thin wood veneer on visible surfaces without excessive use of filler.
