CONSTRUCTION

RCD Status & Classification:

• RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is complies with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) and is marked as Category A (Unlimited Offshore)
• The yacht was designed and built to +YACHT I 3/3E/W +MACH class according to Rules for the Classification – Certification of Yachts Bureau Veritas

Hull Construction:

• WEST system wood/epoxy hull, deck and superstructure construction
• Hull frames, beams and floors made from laminated oak.
• Hull planking in triple overlapped layered Mahogany to 60mm thickness with 12 coats of epoxy externally and 8 coats internally.
• Underwater sections additionally laminated with 3 layers of glassfibre.
• Deck and bulkheads constructed in mahogany and marine plywood to 40mm thickness.
• Teak laid side decks, coachroof and cockpit
• Superstructure painted in white Awlgrip

• Water-cooled exhaust system
